We traveled to Auburn the weekend after Labor Day to meet our new niece, Collins Lane. Also to babysit for a little while and attend the State game. It was a rushed trip, and I really wished we had some extra time to spend with them. We stayed with my Cousin just outside of Montgomery, and got up early to spend the day with my brothers family. Since it is football season, my brother was called in early to work, and his wife was coaching a cross country meet. So we walked in their house around 8:30 and he left us to baby sit at about 8:35. We hadn't even seen the baby before he left. She was sleeping in the living room, and Carrington was excited to see us. The girls enjoyed playing, dressing up, and watching movies. We're going to plan a visit only in the next few weeks!
I thought Collins was perfect, and she reminded me so much of Brooke. Her skin color, hair, and her little noises.
After a short nap, we headed to the ballgame.
Unfortunately, the bulldogs lost in the last 25 seconds. It's gong to be a long season for our beloved Dawgs.
